1. Low Carbon Campaign with UNDP GEF SGP CEE: i-dream was entrusted with the responsibility of training 1,000 school/college children from Delhi and Haryana on Low Carbon lifestyle under the Low Carbon Campaign launched by United Nations Development Program. 16 schools from Delhi and Haryana participated in the campaign with 1,000 children being certified as Young Green Champions. Our Young Green Champions were also a part of Queen’s Baton Run during the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

2. Nokia E-Waste School Contact Program: Under their E-Waste Take Back Campaign, Nokia has partnered with i-dream to develop a school contact program to train the school kids on e-waste. Under this program, a workshop is conducted in schools on “Environment actionability using 3Rs”, after which a Nokia recycling bin is set up in schools to enable students and teachers to dump their e-waste in the form of mobile phone handsets and accessories. This is followed by a tree plantation drive (optional for the schools). Students and teachers are also awarded certificates and gifts to motivate them to continue their environmental journey.

After a successful first phase launched in July, 2010, the school program is now being extended to Delhi/NCR., Mumbai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Chandigarh and many more cities in the near future.

3. Green 2010 - For a Green Beginning: i-dream organized Green 2010 in January, 2010 with the idea of promoting Green Lifestyle habits amongst people of Delhi. Under the campaign, 30 schools participated from across Delhi and held rallies and road shows at 14 different locations in Delhi reaching out to more than 2 Lakh Delhi citizens. The grand finale was held at Aadharshila Vidyapeeth School where teachers and students were rewarded with prize for their hard work and sincerity with which they put up the entire show. The first prize in the road event category was jointly shared between the host school and Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Ashok Vihar.
